JRSA used to be a sleepy little club with under 100 members, now we are running near 400. Historically, we were a place to sight in your rifles, plink with handguns and rimfire, shoot muzzleloading firearms for fun and competition.

We still do all that, but as our membership has grown so have the disciplines we offer. We are hosting multiple courses this year, covering introductory handgun courses, night shooting, competitive precision rifle match shooting, and so much more.

We host a variety of matches, club events and training on site, plus larger public events events throughout the year. Airsoft Kelowna holds monthly game days, B.E.A.R. hosts two muzzleloading matches, mid summer and late winter. Okanagan Precision Shooters along with NRL22 organize competitive matches on a monthly basis, and Okanagan Multigun hosts their matches and training courses throughout the year.
